Agrotechnical hop growing trainings 2019

As before each  season, also this year a series of trainings for hop growers was organized in four regions: Nowy Tomyśl, Powiśle, Krasnystaw and Zamość. The meetings took place from 8 to 12 March 2019.

During those meetings, all the problems that emerged in the previous season were discussed, new recommendations for hop protection and new solutions for the nutrition and stimulation of this plant were presented. A very important topic of the meetings were issues regarding soil quality and setting up  irrigation systems, which in the case of hop growing are becoming more and more common in Poland.

During those meetings, from the Import-Export J.A.Szałas company, many issues were raised regarding the prospects of this crop and market trends.

This year, two trainings were also organized for SCF Natural at the company’s headquarters in Suchodoły and Puławy. Since 2018, SCF Natural has been a distributor of Agro Szałas solutions for hop growers cooperating with the company.
